Background

The Ministry of Health (MOH) of Brunei Darussalam, which oversees the nation’s healthcare sector, sought to revamp its website to address several critical issues, including:
  • An outdated design that no longer met modern standards.
  • Poor navigation, making it difficult for users to find information.
  • Lack of mobile responsiveness, resulting in a subpar experience on mobile devices.
  • Disorganised and outdated content that hindered usability.
Recognising the need for modernisation, MOH engaged our services to create a clean, visually appealing, and user-friendly website. When MOH approached us, our primary objective was to deliver a solution that would meet their expectations and elevate their online presence. Initially, our scope of work focused on improving the overall design, reorganising content, and enhancing user experience across devices. However, as the project progressed, it became clear that the client required additional support in content creation and organisation. By incorporating intuitive design principles, we aimed to ensure that users could easily and efficiently access the information they needed.

How We Helped

To ensure a smooth and collaborative process, we established key milestones and maintained open communication with MOH throughout the project. Given the outdated design and poor navigation of the old website, we worked closely with the client to understand their design preferences and referenced modern websites as inspiration.   Recognising that engaging and up-to-date content was essential to the success of the new website, our team went above and beyond by visiting healthcare facilities across Brunei. This effort allowed us to capture high-quality visuals and gather accurate information, ensuring the website’s content was comprehensive and current. This hands-on approach exemplified our commitment to delivering exceptional results, even when challenges extended beyond the initial project scope.   Key improvements included:
  • A fresh, modern design with clean layouts and intuitive navigation.
  • Mobile optimisation to ensure seamless browsing on all devices.
  • Faster loading times for a better user experience.
  • A functional Tenders & Quotations page with automated removal of expired listings.
  • Consistent use of colours and typography for a cohesive look, despite the absence of specific branding guidelines.
Before receiving final approval to launch, we conducted extensive Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure the website met all requirements. To strengthen our partnership and ensure continuous improvement, we provided post-launch support, including ongoing website maintenance and content updates, helping MOH keep the site relevant and fully functional over time.
