Background
Formed as a joint venture between Jerudong Park Medical Centre Sdn Bhd and Far Eastern University, Philippines, JPMC College of Health Sciences (JCHS) is a private higher education institution in Brunei. They offer comprehensive nursing courses to prospective nurses.
JCHS approached us to improve their online visibility, specifically their website. The primary objectives were to increase organic traffic to their website and improve searchability on search engines. This was aimed at attracting potential students through search engines, encouraging them to consider enrolling at JCHS to further their studies and build a career in nursing.

How We Helped
To boost JCHS’s online visibility, we implemented SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies on their website which included the following methods:
- Optimising the website – This increased the likelihood of search engines choosing to display JCHS’s website over other websites in search results.
- Building the website’s reputation – Enhancing the credibility of the JCHS website so that search engines consider it a trustworthy platform for relevant information, thus prioritising it in search results.
- Maintaining the website – Actively creating relevant content to inform search engines that the website is constantly being updated.
- Monitoring results – Our SEO efforts are closely monitored and adjusted as necessary to ensure continuous improvement for better results.

Results
Within 6 months, the successful SEO project saw a significant increase in overall traffic by 42%. The project yielded impressive results, with the JCHS website moving from not appearing on the first page of Google to being number one in search results. We are pleased to have contributed to JCHS’s significant increase in search engine rankings for the keywords chosen for this project.
